Allen W. Counts was Co-Founder and President of Pryor, Counts
& Co., Inc. Pryor, Counts, one of America’s oldest Africa-American
owned investment banking firms and a pioneer for African American
firm’s involvement in the municipal bond market. Pryor Counts
was the book running senior manager on what is still three of
the largest tax-exempt financing senior managed financings done
by an African American firm, being: $680 million for the Pennsylvania
Intergovernmental Cooperation Authority, $360 million for the
Atlanta Airport and $ 340 million for the Denver Airport, amongst
hundreds of other managed transactions for issuers coast-to-coast.
Prior to Pryor, Counts, Mr. Counts was a Vice President of Citibank,
N.A., working in Hong Kong, and New York. Mr. Counts hold B.S.
and J.D. degrees from Howard University and an M.B.A. from the
Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He also holds the
following NASD designations:
- General Securities Principal (Series 24).
- Financial & Operational Principal (Series 27).
- Registered Representative (Series 7).
He is a licensed Attorney. |
